Album jest następcą wydanego w 1999 roku legendarnego krążka “Blackout!”.
Blackout 2 zawiera 17 utworów, wyprodukowanych m.in. przez Pete Rocka, Ericka Sermona, Buckwilda czy Rockwildera.
Gościnnie pojawiły się takie gwiazdy jak: Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Erick Sermon, Keith Murray.

Album jest promowany przez single: “A Yo”, oraz “Mrs. International”.
